Can the Grand Teton National Park Tour be done in winter?

Yes — parts of the Grand Teton National Park tour can still be done in winter, but access is limited.

During winter months, several park roads close to regular vehicle traffic, including sections of Teton Park Road. Because of this, not all stops or routes in the tour will be accessible by car.

That said, some areas remain open and drivable (weather permitting), and the tour can still provide value for scenic drives, viewpoints, and historical context where access is available. Winter visitors should expect a shorter, more flexible experience and plan around current road conditions.

We recommend checking the park’s road status before heading out and adjusting expectations for a winter visit.
