Badlands National Park covers an area of approximately 244,000 acres. This includes eroded buttes, pinnacles, and spires, along with the largest undisturbed mixed grass prairie in the United States.
While you’re in Badlands you can hike scenic rails like the Door Trail and the Notch Trail; take a drive along Sage Creek Rim Road; and step back in time at the Prairie Homestead - a preserved sod house that depicts life in the early 20th century. You can do all this and more on Shaka Guide’s Badlands National Park Tour.
