Monument Valley is located on the border of northeastern Arizona and southeastern Utah, within the Navajo Nation. From Flagstaff, Arizona, it's about a 3-hour drive (approximately 180 miles). From Moab, Utah, it's about a 2.5-hour drive (approximately 150 miles). Both routes offer scenic desert landscapes, with opportunities to stop at viewpoints or smaller parks along the way. Check out our Road to Monument Valley Tour if you’d like to visit scenic stops on your way to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park.
