What do I need to know before going in Sedona?

This may be paradise, but it’s still the desert! Come prepared with sunscreen, hats, and appropriate footwear. Though you probably won’t find anything dangerous on the trail, keep an eye out for rattlesnakes, scorpions, and tarantulas. If you’re in more remote areas, remember you’re in black bear and mountain lion territory.
